A signed lease, a non-refundable cleaning fee of $59 and fully-refundable $300 damage deposit are also required. The initial cost of your stay will include these costs and will appear higher than you may have anticipated. When you leave the property gently used, the damage deposit can be refunded. Nightly Rate: $159 per night for two (2) consecutive weekend nights (Friday and Saturday). Nightly Rate: $139 per night for weekday nights. Minimum two nights stay required. Please contact Reservations for stays of eight (8) nights or longer. Travel insurance strongly recommended. Travelers pay for 50% of their total stay in order to secure their reservation. The remaining 50% is due 15 days prior to check-in. A signed lease and fully refundable $300 damage deposit are also required. Plantera overlooks Lindsborg's charming Main Street. This short-term apartment rental features a living/sleeping area, fully-equipped kitchen, sumptuous bathroom with large shower and sink, plus full-size, high-efficiency washer and dryer. Guests can ride the private elevator to the second floor. No stairs (except for emergencies, of course). Never stayed at VRBO, but loved this one!
We had to be in Kansas for my son's graduation and my husband booked a VRBO that he had styed in previously. I am a skeptic. Now I have to eat crow as the Vetehuset far exceeded my expections.It had everything that you would find in a four/five hotel and more. The decor is fabulous, unique, yet warm and inviting. I loved some of the features, such as the lighting above the bed and the art on the walls. Even had a tornado shelter, not that one hopes to ever need that.If you ever need to be in the area, make sure you stay here.
First Class in Lindsborg
This short-term apartment and its mirror image apartment on the second floor of the old downtown drugstore (now an antique shop) is perfect in every way. The renovations and space planning have been thoughtfully executed.
We thought the Modern Scandinavian design with rustic touches were in keeping with the history of the building as well as the downtown as a whole. It was absolutely spotless. The apartment was well-appointed with ample closet space, hanging hooks, cabinetry, as well as comfortable lounging and eating areas for up to 4 adults. 3 of us shared for the weekend and were very happy.
The kitchen is fitted with nice cookware, tableware, utensils and small appliances including a K-cup coffee/tea maker. You may want to consider bringing groceries because there is limited breakfast options on the weekends. No coffee shop open before 9 a.m. and on is actually closed on Sunday! The Swedish Crown has a Sunday brunch starting at 9. We had early travel plans and didn't get to try that.
But Vetehuset made our weekend. Looking forward to going back. You can book directly through their website, but we appreciated being able to use PayPal in this particular instance.

Weekend get away!
My husband and I loved having a weekend away together! This was the perfect place for us and it was accommodating to our every need! We relaxed, slept in, drank, watched a movie, and just enjoy ourselves with all the comforts of home. We will stay here again and so thankful we found this little get away place! Just give it a try... you will love it to!
