Eating In -- The vacation rentals have everything you need to prepare your own meals. Stop by Scott's Hometown Foods to stock up on whatever you need to prepare some of your favorite recipes. Our guests will find everything they need to prepare a delicious breakfast, or any meal in each vacation rental's fully equipped kitchen.
Eating Out -- Lindsborg has quite a few dining options for the lucky traveler. Here are our recommendations:
Breakfast: On Friday and Saturday, the Swedish Crown opens at 9 AM and at 8 AM Sunday mornings. For a Swedish-style breakfast every morning, walk over to the Swedish Country Inn. The Blacksmith Coffee Shop and Roastery, which offers coffee drinks and some treats along side, is open Monday through Saturday, but it is closed on Sunday.
Lunch and Dinner: Farley's has great upscale pub food, often with new features at lunch and dinner. The Swedish Crown has daily specials, sandwiches, burgers and other great entrees and desserts--with occasional nods toward Asian delicacies (the are open for dinner until 9 PM, Monday through Saturday with Sunday Brunch from 8 AM to 3 PM. Their sister restaurant, The Renaissance Cafe in nearby Assaria, open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, is definitely worth the short drive for an upscale dinner in a refurbished high school. For more traditional ethnic fare, try Jalisco's for Mexican and the China Restaurant for Chinese. Walk down South Main to Ol' Stuga for a hot sandwich and a cold beer. The White Peacock across the street serves tasty drinks and snacks. The Brickhouse Grill near Scott's Hometown Foods has burgers, pizza and Venezuelan specialties. And they deliver!
Be sure to call ahead for the hours and specials. Lindsborg is a small town, so some businesses aren't open every day.
